Kansas City Stars hockey club finds home at Ice Sports in Shawnee
Kansas City Stars Hockey will have a new home starting March 1 — the Ice Sports facility in Shawnee. The move follows an agreement by the newly formed Stars Facility Management LLC to manage the Shawnee facility.

With the ice at their Overland Park home melted, the Kansas City Stars youth hockey league is relocating to Shawnee. But the Stars aren’t just moving into Ice Sports, team leaders have created a partnership to manage the facility and — potentially — expand it to include a second rink.
