The Shawnee Economic Development Council (SEDC) has been helping
others succeed since it was established in 1994. The SEDC is a partnership
effort between the City of Shawnee, Shawnee Chamber of Commerce and
the Shawnee business community that is in existence to assist Shawnee’s
business development and growth of current and future business climate.
This is done through efforts that would bring new business to Shawnee,
such as new corporations, retail and restaurant establishments as
well as new manufacturing and light industrial companies. The SEDC
also helps those businesses already in Shawnee continue to succeed
by offering unique business learning opportunities, expansion efforts,
networking and sharing of business knowledge. The SEDC is proud to
be a member of this community that works to help others get ahead
for a better future for Shawnee.
