Started in 2019, the EDC's intern engagement program NEXT provides interns in Shawnee the opportunity to meet interns from other companies in our community AND and exposes them to the benefits of living in Shawnee and the greater KC Metro.

Each year we plan a full slate of events for interns including, but not limited to:

• Welcome program with the City of Shawnee.
• Lunch and learn events.
• A wrap-up social event.

With no program cost, Shawnee NEXT exists as a benefit to our Chamber and EDC members!
